Nikon Coolpix P2

It's not an SLR, but I don't see why it would matter from a tripod perspective. Most (all?) cameras have the same type of tripod socket.

BTW, this is an almost 20-year-old camera. Any modern smartphone will take better photos. :)

That camera can take good pictures in many circumstances. But it has a CCD image sensor which is very dated and needs well lit subject matter for good pics.

It takes pretty good pictures. If I had a tripod, it would be amazing.
 
the P indicates it's a better performing line in the coolpix range, with the typical coolpix cameras model numbers starting with an S iirc.

It sits between the S and slr/dslr and other cameras with interchangeable lenses.
