NGK or Denso Spark Plugs?

About them for eight dollars apiece straight from the Lexus dealer

On Gen Coupe 2L turbo it came with Denso TT from the factory. Official gap is ~0.040". The came at 0.028" or so from the factory and the engine for me runs best at 0.032". If you run at the factory spec you get spark blowout when in high boost.

You can always regap the plugs closer.
 
In the Fiesta ST community there have been several cases of Denso's insulators cracking at the tips
 
In many Japanese cars, the owners manual will have 2 spark plug part numbers, one for NGK and one for Denso.
That makes me think that one brand is not any better than others.

LEO99, some Toyota models left the factory with NGK plugs. The 3VZ-FE had 3 Denso spark plugs and 3 NGK spark plugs.

I buy NGK plugs because typically the perform the same way as OE, and many cars leave the factory with NGK.
