My two volvos 91 240 and 93 940 turbo.

Don't need that fluid for those Volvo's. Just use a good Dexron III fluid.

When I first had my 240 turbo it was an automatic and in my 262C - I used to use this Amsoil ATF in my Volvo AT's and it was SWEET but now I'm a MT Volvo guy.

This is the Mobil 3309 equivalent to Toyota T-IV (not WS). This fluid is somewhat backwardly compatible, but as Pabs mentioned it is not necessary. A Dex III compatible fluid is all you need. I like the Mobil 1 ATF, but Amsoil will also fit the bill.

Volvo has used the 3309/T-IV type fluid in their late-model vehicles with AW units requiring the special fluid for quite some time. The fluid mentioned in the bulletin appears to be something new, and different than what has been used all along, and appears to be in-line with Toyota's S/B when they launched the WS fluid. It promised better shifting at low temperatures with relatively similar high-temp viscosity.
