I got these things this week off the tool truck. Also got a brake bleeder wrench too that’s 8 and 10mm from Snap-on but forgot to take a picture of it. The jump box was $200 off made it $284. I didn’t ask the price of the socket or the wrench lol. I had a 14mm spark plug socket already but the magnet broke inside of it and Snap-on was there so I just got it and then I’ll get the other one warrantied and use it at home.

Does the battery inside the MAC jump pak have a lifetime warranty?

From what I have read the Skill corded drills are not bad at all, made by Chervon who also make flex. For DIY there is no need to spend the long dollar on a high end drill invest in a quality bit set with the $$ saved.

The bigger torque wrenches are definitely too long for the smaller 26" toolboxes! At least the Craftsman cases have a hang tab on the end so they can hang on a pegboard! At least, my 1/2 craftsman 20-250lb does.
Yeah I might hang it, otherwise I'll be mounting some metal wall cabinets soon and likely will just let it live in there. I like everything tucked away and out of sight!

Took the Lang chaser out to try on the exhaust manifold holes on my 300D.

The Facebook marketplace barely used cheap Chinese one could only thread in about three turns.

The OE studs that were removed thread in the while way.

The US made Lang ones thread in fully as well.

Lang is on the left. Lesson learned. Don’t trust anything of consequence to the cheap achinese tools many folks love to buy.
Just bought the Lang set above.

These guys will be a huge help when drilling out snapped bolts. Thanks to @Trav for the heads-up on these, in the thread where the fellow was changing the Hyundai valve-cover gasket.
These are cheap enough that I will probably just get them and put them in the “oh crap” drawer but I can’t recall many times I’ve had to do a extraction where the stud was broken down inside the threaded hole far enough that these would be helpful but maybe I’m missing how they would be used?

I feel the same way. Bolts usually break at the head and these would not help much. But I did have a stud break below the surface a few years ago, and these would have worked. So I just placed an order for the SG set (Sundry Goods) on Amazon. Better safe than sorry!

You're understanding the application correctly.

It does happen - I could have used these a few months ago, dealing with a broken ball-joint pinch bolt on a Subaru.

I consider them a cheap but of insurance - if I don't have to use them, great.
