I bought new cutting broaches. Small ones! The smaller ones works for watchmaking and for deburring capillary tubing.

I'll show you the reverse of my small machinist's steel ruler. It has conversion tables on the backside. Another nice nice feature is the 0.5mm resolution. The markings are etched an filled with paint. They don't make things that well any longer. That ruler is pretty old. Made by Shinwa in Japan. Hardened, tempered steel very low glare! EDIT: I checked, it's still available for $12. Available with metric on the obversee and and inches with fractions shown on the reverse. No conversion tables.

I received a $50 Amazon gift certificate and put it towards the purchase of this $63 Müller-Werkzeug (aka Mueller-Kueps) wrench extender. Overall length is 340mm (about 13.25"). There is no COO information on the tool or the hangtag, but at this price point it had better be manufactured in Germany! The cheap clones on Amazon sell for around $20. Müller-Werkzeug is based in Germany, and Mueller-Kueps is based in USA.

Got a link to the $12 ruler handy?
I no longer post links because they tend to cause objections. I found the 150 mm version in metric and inches at Taylor Toolworks last night. Also longer models. Today, I found the one with the conversion table for $7 on Amazon. Just look for Shinwa ruler model 13005. I wonder how long it's been in production. I have had mine for 30 or more years.

I no longer post links. I found the 150 mm version and two larger ones at a special tool site last night. Today, I found the same one I have with the conversion table on Amazon. Just look for Shinwa ruler.

I scoff at social media influencer tool brands but found this at Costco with the asterisk of death. At least it takes 1/4” bits so I can use it with another brands bit set.
