New tool thread

I really didn't need another 1/4" impact, but this combo deal was too hard to resist at $90.

Been buying a lot lately.

Astro 1828v2, 1/2” drive. This thing is a beast (for its size) when paired with Milton “V” style high-flow fittings and 150psi.

Cal-Van ratcheting harmonic balancer puller. I believe it is also sold under the Matco/MAC brands.

Astro 1/2” drive low profile impact sockets.

Makita Cordless Inflator, Made in China, Amazon $99
I bought one of these sets last month, it is no where near the Makita quality with no bells and whistles but it works great. I filled 8 235/55/17 tires that were all 10-15 psi low and it only used 1/2 the battery, it filled them quickly.

Another Toyota oil filter tool for my moms car. Bought one last time because I misplaced my one for home well I misplaced the one i bought last time too LOL. My problem is I don’t have any room in my home toolboxes so it gets set out and misplaced. They have raised the price by $6 too. It was $9.99 last time i bought it today I paid $15.99 before tax. I prefer the style that the tool trucks have like I have at work but I’m staying off those things I’ve almost got all my tool debt behind me so I don’t want to get that started again at least not by too much. Feels nice to have a new tool for the first time in awhile. Let’s hope I don’t lose this one. If i could afford a bigger tool box for home I’d buy one or even another small one but I don’t have the space or money for it right now.

Put it in the trunk of your mom's car with the spare since that's the car it's for and if you have the car to work on you have the tool?

I got the MotivX back in June of '20 for $25. Now they're $30. So your PT is a better deal if it works well enough

Here's another option at $12:

My wife and kids ( from a hint) got me these drawer organizers for Christmas.

My screwdriver drawer was always a jacked up mess.

These do waste some space , but it's so much better. I did have to trim a couple to fit.

Nothing really rolls around now when you open and close the drawers.

The Vessel screw drivers came with their own tray.

Two new Craftsman USA screwdrivers from the Ace Hardware annual new years 50% off sale. Went to 5 Ace Stores only found a total of 9 USA screwdrivers left these were two of them. I need the number 4 Phillips for my Beetle and the flat head I just got for my Craftsman USA collection cause I didn’t have that one yet. I also found some old stock USA made dies from Irwin but I already went inside that location three times as had my parents and the manager said we couldn’t take advantage of the discount anymore so didn’t get them. At the other stores not really any tools I needed or wanted so I got some Duke Cannon soap and some
One of the best days was when I got those Craftsman hand punishing handles out of my tool box.

What's the function of the 4 teeth on the perimeter of the tool? First time I have seen that feature on a oil filter socket
The top of the Toyota housings have like ears or teeth or whatever and those go around it. I snapped a few off the plastic one so that’s why I bought the new metal housing. The style I have at work just grabs onto the bottom of the housing where there is no teeth/ears.
