Went to Harbor freight today and took advantage of the Daytona 3-ton low profile Superduty jack deal. Originally $289 but it was $100 off so right over $200 with tax. Three-year warranty on this one. I got the Sunburst Orange version. It goes nicely with my Daytona 3-ton low profile long reach jack and the Badland 3-ton offroad jack.

In the last three years, I have found the need for a clamping vice while conducting minor home and automotive repairs but have not had one. I finally got off my rear and decided to take a trip up to Grizzly's industrial tools, as my coworkers have commented on their show room beauty and supply. Definitely worth the trip if you are in the Seattle area and looking for good tools. I ended up getting the 5 inch multi bench vise and mounted it to the Ikea rolling work bench. Also purchased non marring magnetic pads from amazon as you can see. The Dewalt workbench is new as well (free from a friend), and the rolling seat from Costco. Added a few stickers too!

Is it legal to have a DEI sticker (in the modern political era)? Asking for a friend...

Not basing your purchase but I use a puller like that 5% of the time. The other 95% I find indexing pry bars far more effective.

Not saying you made a bad choice, just giving you the next purchase for your list ;)
Hmmm indexing pry bars, yes i think i would like those too!

If I may butt in here, what size indexing bar do you find most useful for the transmission/axle seals?
Probably typically the 16". I have the 3 pc GW set, and then I have a couple massive ones that would be impractical for seals :D (including the large telescoping one)

There are a lot of knock-offs on the market now, too. I'm the last one to stand up for GW so the copies might be decent but I couldn't say. There's a double-jointed import I kinda want just for the novelty (but I doubt it'd be any good for seal removal -- and perhaps not for anything at all!)

On one of those daily sale day I picked up the 25 pc Icon multi spline screw extractors for $29 Made in China but it looks decent enough.
Not my favorite tools but used with some common sense and experience can be useful, this style are good for rounded out Allen, Torx, XZN heads especially the mid-larger sizes.
It was $59 now they just increased it to $69.

I've used the style to remove sheared bleeder screws.

I picked that one up too on their Monday day sale.

Left to right
-Lisle filter plug for later CTD
-SnapOn bleeder wrench with 7/16" as I just encountered this on a '14 Ram (it was NOT 8mm, 5/16", 3/8" or 10mm)
-Lisle flywheel lock for Dmax
-Sunex 57BS5 bearing splitter for $118 thru AWD. Absolutely nothing was wrong except the box was crushed a bit. $118 is a VERY good retail price for this

My workplace 3 phase/220V 10 inch grinder bearings went bad, plus I had to move it away from electrical panels (failed inspection). I replaced it with this Grainger Dayton 8 inch grinder (60 lbs.) and fabricated this tool box cart to make it moveable and provide much needed storage space in my tiny shop. U.S. made Baldor grinders are about triple $$$. Sigh.

Interesting "how's it made" video of Craftsman boxes at old Waterloo Plant:
