New tool thread

Those look nice!
I work mostly under the hood of Euro cars these days but occasionally still do other under the car stuff and have tried these before from Snap on, I honestly cant justify owning them even for short money, impact swivels are good and you can add any extension you need on it making it all the better. with these being limited to 9" it really takes the versatility out of the swivel IMO.

I remember that, and reports of the tips breaking under light load. Hopefully, after seeing a high warranty return rate on them, they made some changes.
I bought a set...used one for a Honda mower wheel and the tip broke. They exchanged without any hassle.

Yeah, I mean their cool and all, but it's true what you say, just use your own extension. I even have a long one and a shorter one, that's 1/2" drive at the air tool/Ratchet end and you think it's a 1/2" drive extension, but in reality, it's 3/8" drive on the socket side.

Not really a tool, but need any 2 faced carpet tape? It's handy to have around.
One 42-foot roll is $6.84, But meanwhile 6 rolls of the same tape is $12.86!
Duck Brand 286373 Indoor/Outdoor Carpet Tape, 1.41-Inch x 42 Feet White, Pack of 6.

That is a crows foot, very useful tools, I have had this set from Astro for many years and they are very good tools and a great buy.

This is a slugging wrench. I only have a couple of large ones that I needed when I had the unimog.

Picked up an inexpensive ball joint adapter set. The XL press was sold out so I have one on order.

I was reading up on ball joint presses lately but could not find a NA made one that wont break the bank. Seeing that even OTC is outsourcing, why spend that kind of money just to get the same stuff under another name.

Found a nice snap on set used but wasnt going to spend 700$ for something I will use a handfull of times in my life.

Hoping to get the ball joints in my 3500 done this winter/spring before horse showing season. Leaning heavily to EMF.
Know what you mean about the handful of jobs. I bought this Chinese made Orion set that comes in different brand names. Nothing broke and it did the lower ball joints on a Chevy 1500 just fine.
