New tool thread

Nice stuff, make sure the turn the compressor regulator psi down for the smoke machine to about 1-2 psi or better yet hook a hand pump up to it with a fitting when looking for evap leaks.
Thanks. The smoke machine has a regulator on it that only allows a 0.5lb output so that it can be used for Evap leaks. The instructions say that you can hook up an air compressor with a max output of 200 psi to the machine but I won't be using anything with that much psi.

My first Hazet tools. Bought through Amazon Global Store.

Some #1, #2, and #3 JIS Philips screwdrivers from Vessel (bought at Amazon). The ball head screwdrivers have a smooth tip, the others have a serrated tip for a little more torque. I like the knurling on the shaft of the blue-handle screwdrivers. Tips on all of them are magnetized.

Nice. I have some screwdrivers that are magnetized. Honest question I have is, if parts are magnetized in an engine from contact with magnetized tools, is this good or bad? Like I took the valve shims out of my Toyota with a magnetic tool. It seems that is now going to attract iron to the shim, right where the cam lobe scrapes over it.

Spurring the economy. Wanted a 3/8” impact set, and picked one up. Also have the Proto 1/2” set coming for my other garage.

I like the Proto finish, the bead blasted black oxide. Not very rust resistant, at least without a lot of oil. But feels good.
