I just had new shocks and springs as well as suspension bushings done front and rear on my 70 Chevelle. My rear height on the P/S is off by .75 even after switching springs from side to side. Any ideas what is causing this?

Hows the front?

Was the suspension tightened with the weight on it?

3/4 inch sounds like a bit much, but some variation is normal of course.

Do your coil springs sit in a type of slot or can you turn them?
Turning them so that they both face or opposite each other (the way there made) may make them even.

So, what kind of shocks did you end up getting? I know you were deciding between KYB and Bilstein

I drove it for a bit and noticed the difference when the car was in the garage which is level and where I took the measurements.
