I've seen vehicles calling for 5W-20, but never 0W-20...guess I'll be running full synthetic...I don't even think there is such a thing as 0w20 conventional, is there?

Most newer Toyotas call for 0w-20, don't they?

That's why there is TGMO 0w-20 that has been discussed so much on BITOG.

TGMO?

My wife's 2012 Sienna uses 0w20 synthetic. We did our last service through Toyota (bought the service contract)...now will be doing myself.

Most Hondas and Toyota use 0w20 and have been for at least 5 years or so

There is no dino 0w20; they're all at least syn blend (and there are a few 0w20 synthetic blends out there). The best one to get right now is Napa Synthetic 0w20, which is only $2.99/qt this month. Napa Synthetic is rebranded Synpower

TGMO?

Dude, where have you been?

Toyota Genuine Motor Oil. There are probably 200+ threads about it on BITOG.

Lol I was wondering the same thing. Grampi comes on here often, cars have called for 0w20 in the manuals for years and years.

Manuals, we don't have time for manuals. The salesman tells us what we need to know, bring it in every 3k miles and gosh darn it, we like it that way.

I typically don't go into the oil discussion threads much...

That should tell you how long it's been since I've bought a new vehicle...

The Camry went 10k on it with excellent results as evidenced by the uoa. Mixed city/hwy driving with an oem filter. The universal averages were based on 6600 miles and the 10k results were even better than the averages. Some use it in non-Toyota vehicles.

Congrats on a very nice vehicle.

Thanks!

$12 rebate on 5 qts right now!

Also, aside from warranty rejection, you could most likely run any 0/5w20/30/40 and you'd be fine. But 0w20 is a strong oil. Won't kill your engine like some believe.
