I have a leaky cam plug on my car right now, and i'm planning on replacing it, along with the o-ring on the distributor, the spark plug gaskets, and the valve cover gasket at the same time as a preventative measure for when I make the switch to Synthetic soon. Is it safe to fill the motor with synthetic directly after replacing the seals? (I'm going to be using Amsoil ASL 5w30) I was also planning on using some Amsoil Engine Flush before I put the Synthetic in. My main concern is the new seals and if there's any precautions I should take before running the flush and the new synthetic oil for the first time.
