I carry a 542 because it was relatively cheap, it's pretty light, and has decent power. The way I see it, if I need more it's time to move to an auto instead of a bigger and more powerful 5 shooter. The small 9s are where it's at.

yeah, I know my friends are trying to get me into a small 9mm but I am a wheel gun guy.
