I am installing new rear shocks on a Chrysler Pacifica minivan. Aftermarket choices are very slim. Basically Monroe or the Chinese brand. I ordered some Monroe rear shocks.
The odd thing is that they didn't come with a dust boot. I tried to use the stock dust boot but it will not fit over the new rear shocks. So you can only install them without a dust boot.
I noticed that the Chinese brand like FCS come with a dust boot.
How big of a deal is it to run rear shocks on a minivan without a dust boot? Is it going to hurt the life of the shock?
