New plug Briggs & Stratton Polar Force 420cc

Had to change the plug on the B&S 420cc today. The stock plug was a Champion RC12YC. Replacement is an NGK BKR5ES. Not sure if that is an exact replacement? Starts instantly so good enough. Easy job.

Two 9mm bolts hold the plastic cover on. Use two screwdrivers to pry up the choke. Caveat: the choke is mounted to a plastic shaft.

Yes, I recall that “ stoopid “ plastic shaft and a person wonders if the dang thing is going to break when you pry the knob off.
