Temperature definitely affects performance and charging voltage requirements. They had a tech document available with all the details along with lifetime performance.

What is the soh Percentage? The soc looks like it is close to 100%. I am surprised it is 750cca considering it is a new battery.

I have my doubts now that Odyssey customer service could do anything since the rating matches the measurement.
I didn't send them that stuff, so we'll see what they come back with. I just sent them a pic with serial and date code. I didn't install the battery yet. It's still sitting on the floor in my garage on top of some cardboard.

Just bought a Walmart Everstart Maxx size Group 24 yesterday for a friends 2015 Lexus IS250 that had the original battery. It was exactly 10 years old, and tested on the Ancel BA101 as needing replacement. Took my tester to the store, they only had one Group 24 on the shelf, with an 11/24 date. It tested just fine, and I bought it for $150 plus tax. Its a flooded battery, but sealed "maintenance free" with that little green eye window on top. Three year free replacement warranty, I stashed the receipt in their glove box.

Sorry I don't recall exactly....it was over the 700 CCA rating, but not by a ton...maybe 740?
Gotcha no problem. U should charge it and desulphonate before going into service.

That may be the ideal situation, but I was helping a friend and they were in a hurry. I did run my battery minder on it for about one hour before they left, as they decided to wash and vaccum their car, since I have all the materials to do so. But with all the numbers showing in a very good range, there didn't seem to be a reason to do anything more.

I only noticed the battery issue as I was changing their oil last weekend and it was part of my checks.

Just checked the battery. It has now been over 48 hours. The CCA went up a little. It is now 756. Could be cause it is warmer in the garage and warmer today. Tomorrow is supposed to be colder so I'll check again. Still waiting to hear back from Odyssey after I sent them the pic of serial and date code.
As a side note, now that I have a tester, I checked out my bad Interstate MTP H6 from 2015. It measured with the Ancel at 94CCA, SOH as 3% and SOC as 0. Internal Resistance was some high number like 25.xx and voltage was 10.xx. I checked with the Foxwell and got similar readings but measured a higher CCA around 124. Supposed to be 730. This is gonna be my core return. Just waiting to hear back from Odyssey.

According to their own docs, they only require a refresh every two years, provided they are fully charged before inactive storage.
An old battery is an old battery, and my own personal preference if I paid that kind of money is to not receive an old battery, though what grounds there are for possible redress are probably limited. If they're a legit company, and most indications are that they are, if it fails within the warranty period, starting from the sale/in-service date (not manufacture date), there should be no issues getting service.
The best way to test a battery is a full charge, and discharge under load. Those instant read testers can only take a couple measurements and infer the condition of the battery based on certain assumptions. The one I have told me that the 8-year old battery I just replaced was almost as good as new, so I wouldn't be a good candidate to act as their spokesman.
Just checked. It's been ~72 hours since charge. CCA is showing 755, though one test a few hours ago showed 910 but that wasn't repeatable. The voltage dropped to 12.77-12.78. Everything else has stayed the same. Waiting to hear back from Odyssey.
It’s holding its charge well. The specs test well, especially considering the cold. Note, batteries are usually delivered with more capacity available than their rating. Chances are it will be fine. Especially with the low resistance. The resistance is probably the key, as it is a function of sulfation. If they don’t exchange it, I’m not sure I’d be too concerned.
It’s a different world getting into the premium batteries. I had a flooded Trojan battery, a hybrid deep cycle / starter battery, that lasted years with abuse and neglect. What would have killed a Walmart battery 4 times, this thing just shook off with a full charge off a cheap charger.
