M1 has been available in a 5W-40 variety for a few years now. First as Delvac 1 if you wanted to hunt it down at truck stops or the like. Then later as Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 5W-40 available at many auto parts stores. Finally, M1 renamed it to Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40 and it became much harder to locate. Were these Mobil oils not available in Canada?
Not so sure about that, buster. Terry commented that some of these low SAPS oil might provide a good value for passenger vehicles. The Mobil 1 ESP 5w30 might be a good substitute for Esso XD-3 and the like, that is, assuming the price is right.Quote:
