Walmart has been out of Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30 the last few times I was there. I'm blaming the oil situation since I keep seeing articles about it. So yesterday I'm at AA picking up some Carquest filters for my wife's car, and there it is: Mobil 1 ESP. It cost a lot more than Walmart, but I figured a bird in the hand......

Did you at least make it part of an oil change bundle that would include the filter?
No, that wasn't offered. But I'm ok. Got what I was looking for. And as far as online, I rarely think of that for my automotive stuff.
AA I presume is Advance Auto? If it's close to you or on travel route, stop in ask. Worst case they may credit the difference or return and do the bundle.
Which Carquest filters did you get? My last round at Advance Auto Parts (AAP) I did 5qts of Valvoline Restore and Protect with the $16.99 Carquest EP filter. Bundle was $37.99 plus tax. Cheaper than getting the oil and Walmart and a Carquest Premium filter separately.
As you say rarely look online. Over $35 qualifies for 15% off and I can do instore pickup. I will need to try that next time to see if it works for the bundle.
