I like this filter and it works for my Camaro but I don't like the price.
Yup. . .the glue has been present on the H/K filters for a long time. I think this backs up my assertion that those filters are good quality and if anything, over-engineered. For the money, they can't be beat.

Must be the old Mann+Hummel made Mobil 1. What's the center tube look like ... does it have louvers?
Another way to tell is the ring around the base is painted black and not unpainted like the new Mobil 1 filters through Highline Warren.

I looked up Highline, they are apparently one distributor of M1 filters, the largest they say. Interesting that they make or distribute Mag1 oils. I know Supertech oil was/is marked Warren. It seems they make mostly fluids. It used be called Warren distributing. I don’t get too excited about them, they buy the oil filters from someone else it seems. There is a markup, so the filters like Mobil 1 must be way less than $10 before the first markup, then the second, maybe there is a third.
Filters from Fram, Purolator, etc USA would have one markup by Walmart. Maybe that’s why they can compete with China on price. I really prefer the one markup.

At this time, I'd say Highline Warren is the only (nobody else) distributor of Mobil 1 filters. Everyone that sells them gets them through Highline Warren, just like everyone who sells M+H distributed filters gets them through M+H. There is no more association between Mobil 1 filters and M+H except for the old stock. On the Mobil website showin there filters, Highline Warren is shown to be responsible for the warranty on the Mobil 1 filters. It use to show M+H until Highline Warren took over.
Definately an old Mobil 1 under M+H.

Somewhere they said they are one of the largest distributors but now they are sole. Bye Mobil 1 you no longer get my $40/year. Sold out to the big C. Or is it little V. I actually don’t use their oil and filters anymore, for years. Lol
Also it says Highline aftermarket and Warren distribution combined in 2020, so that explains why ST oil was marked Warren distribution, or hdistributing, whatever it was. .
