New low cost iPhone 16e

Is that good for areas with no towers? I'm not clear why this is important. I have long lived in an area where coverage is spotty, so if if it "just works" then that's a selling point to me. *Assuming it works on pre-paid services.
It probably also improve user experience for those who are not on the overpriced better coverage network (T Mobile? ATT?) where the "good" network has a monopoly (Verizon?).

One of my friend works in a satellite company building these units and explain to me how it works: the satellite array acts like an antenna array with massive MIMO to improve reception and your phone's weak signal will be convoluted into a strong one after processing. This is like your wifi's MIMO but much bigger in scale.
