Perfect volume for my 6QT sump.
Someone will buy it thinking that they will never have to change their oil again.
It’s “Lifelong” oil. That’s a good OCI.Voluminous use of the word "unsurpassed" suggests literary license by the marketing department or this is the greatest oil of all time.
Glad to see Havoline advancing. Lose the cardboard boxes though
Boxes are too hard to pour from in my opinion. Why? You hate plastic jugs too.
Not exactly. Looks like Havoline has added seal conditioners and other additives to the old ProDS formula. My boxes of Havoline ProDS SP do not have the "lifelong" designation. Since the price is unchanged I suspect this to be a marketing revision.
I don't know about that AM. When I was watching my son pour the oil from the box it looked quite easy. There's a punch in piece on the side of the box for a handle, and the cap is fixed upon the top after pulling it from the box. Cardboard is not slippery like plastic.Boxes are too hard to pour from in my opinion.
I spilt half of it on the engine because it was too wide and the handle broke.I don't know about that AM. When I was watching my son pour the oil from the box it looked quite easy. Don't get me wrong, I used to like the plastic containers myself when I was doing OCI's.
That would persuade me not to purchase again again too.I spilt half of it on the engine because it was too wide and the handle broke.
Have you used a 6qt Chevron boxes or just those overly cumbersome 12qt half bay boxes.Boxes are too hard to pour from in my opinion.
