Did not see this posted yet, but while at Wally World I see where Havoline Pro-DS is no longer $22.97 but now $29.66 Ouch!

I got lucky because they did not change the shelf label for the 0w20 and 5w20, but just the 5w-30.

But the 0w-20 did scan at $29.66, but they let me have it for $22.97.

Well we know it would come to an end. The price of the 6qt box finally got jacked up. Its now $29.98 for the 6qt box for the lifelong full syn, up from 22.XX a few weeks ago. Now same price as the PRO-RS line.

That's interesting, because it has been the $22 price around here in NC until just recently. Like I stated earlier, they had not even swapped out the shelf labels yet. If they did have a price change from Chevron, most business will go ahead and change the retail price immediately to make more money. Maybe WW exhausted their inventory of those purchased before the new lot in this region.

Nothing surprises me anymore in this inflationary environment. The other brands have been going up for some time now. I see Castrol for over $30 for five quarts. They used to be in the mid-20 range.

Every other brand went up months ago, around $30 has been the norm for 5qts from other brands for a while now.

I was somehow able to get the website to sell it to me at the old price a few weeks back and snapped up 3 boxes. I'm pretty sure they fixed it though since I've not been able to since.

I know, last I looked, that there are some zip codes in Florida that will show the old price, but of course, you can't get it shipped for that price.

Ohh well, I've got enough to last me the rest of the year most likely.

Still only very slightly less than the 6qt box on a per qt basis, and an inconvenience for those of us that need the full 6 qts for a full change.

I used up the 6 boxes I had of it.

It was a great deal for sure. I had mail ordered mine through Wally.
