New Furnace question.

I wish I would have got a two stage for better comfort. 95% is good.
After recently adjusting our thermostat settings, we have it where we're comfortable and the simple, 1 speed furnace isn't cycling all the time. Always between 67&69 degrees, instead of 67 and 68, and currently running about once every 40-50 minutes instead of every 15-25. But having a variable speed to match our duct setup would be even better. The tech did say a furnace like ours is super simple to fix and saves a ton in repair bills. So I guess the 1960's tech they still make has that advantage...

my house is definitely over furnaced. 60k btu in a 754sq ft main floor with 1150(generous) total sq ft.
a 40k would be fine in anything over -40f. (never goes below -10f here)..

if it was a 2 stage where it was 30k/60k or 40k/60k it would be muchhh better.
of course 1 have 1 cold air return in the main hall... that is it.

That's us now, too. Used to have one in every room.
