Mercedes spends like 2 million dollars per day in R&D alone. A few thousand bucks for an oil cert is not even a drop in the bucket.
I can't believe I waited 2 years for that.High SAPs on these Euro oils...i'm sure that earns the DPF parts makers approvals.. lol
It's not just you. OAI's setup is a nightmare. Requires a phone call for every correction and edit, and there's always a need for at least one. Blackstone may be "unreliable" but they make it stupid easy. Plus I love their report layout and their customer service is very friendly and accommodating.OA had the engine type as diesel, flagged the titanium since they did not post the oil type, and I tried to fix it in HORIZON and gave up, I must not have the needed minimum IQ to run their system.
Odd, that's not my experience at all. I submitted two samples, both were recorded properly, with the correct details. Didn't find anything difficult about the process. It's not just you. The initial setup was even difficult in my case. BS is better by far with ease of use in my opinion. I find even OA packaging to be needlessly difficult to open. OA seems to be set up for fleet/industrial use primarily, with a pretty old UI, that all their primary users are accustomed to. Regardless, I will keep using them for the time being.Odd, that's not my experience at all. I submitted two samples, both were recorded properly, with the correct details.
