We see (usually new) users on here all the time with some story of how some brand caused damage, but with no verifiable evidence that the particular brand caused the failure. You have to see things from the other side.
If I said the same story to you and the boards here regarding let's say Mobil1 and no one else has ever heard of the story, how on Earth do I expect people to believe me? And, what is more, what does that have to do with Mobil1 today?
It's just confusing and only verifiable to "me" while naturally others would challenge my story. I provided nothing but a story.
As I often say, observing something is the easy part. Attributing that observation to one specific variable or another is the far more difficult part.
Amsoil is a lesser brand in this but it happens. Usually it’s Mobil 1 or Pennzoil. The fact that the poster’s comment about “Amsoil propaganda” gets you pretty far down the road as to where this is all coming from.
