New 3-row SUV?

Get a Sienna or Carnival hybrid
I do like the fact that the Carnival doesn't look like a typical minivan and has over 40 cu ft of storage space behind 3rd row. I wonder if it could carry 5 adults + 2 kids + 6 checked bags. It would save me from having to rent a Ford Transit passenger van for some upcoming trips.

Not sure about the hybrid system in the Carnival though. I know it has a V6 option too, but the fuel economy is awful.

Defender 110 or 130 if you need a lot of space. Don't think anything else new exists with the blend of comfort and capability on/off road. Haters that have never owned one will chime in about reliability, but I've never had any issues with any of LR products.
Grand Cherokee L if I had to do something "normal".
On road only, BMW X7.

I'm enjoying my 2025 Nissan Armada Pro-4x with 3rd row and seats 8. Even with 3rd row up I can fit 2 full sized suitcases and 2 carry on luggage also 5 five gallon water jugs standing up. Build quality is excellent and built in Japan. Shares the same VR class engine as the Nissan GT-R and the 9 speed transmission from a MB AMG G Wagon.
I was going to suggest the Armada myself.
You can get real deals on these. You won't find a less expensive "real" body on frame SUV.
The V-8 is plenty strong and they look pretty decent in and out and are quite roomy.
Were I looking for this sort of thing, I'd head for a Nissan dealer, although only after emailing every one of them within a hundred miles for OTD pricing offers.

When my wife and I went to the dealer to test drive the 2025 Pilot Elite, the first thing she did was climb into the 3rd row seat and stayed there while I drove (in our 60s and not small). The Pilot has a feature called Cabin Talk, which basically turns the sound system into a communication device between the front and rear. We bought it after she took a turn driving it. I wanted the naturally aspirated engine and conventional transmission. Now at 16k miles and several long trips. Considering all manufacturers seem to be having reliability issues, including Toyota, I'd buy it again.

My next door neighbor was looking for a 3rd row seat vehicle. After driving our Pilot, they bought the same trim level as ours, but black interior vs our gray.

My son bought one of these Armada to accommodate him, wife and 3 children. I am very impressed.

Palisade with an extended warranty will probably give you the most interior room unless you want to graduate to a truck-based 3 row.
As much as I find the Grand Highlander boring looking, I think I still like it more than the Palisade. Don't know exactly what it is, but that new front end is just not agreeing with me.

Grand Cherokee L is a nice option, not sure how the Pentastar stacks up to the other engine combos you are looking at however? I don't believe you can currently get the HEMI again yet, but it's coming.

Dodge will now sell you a 6.4 HEMI powered Durango R/T for $52k 😉 SRT is reserved for hellcats

Traverse or Pathfinder both have adult sized 3rd rows if/when you need them. Loads of cargo room when you don't need the 3rd for seating.
