New work truck that I was asked to pick out. Bighorn plus package with trailer tow package. Found this unit in willoughby Ohio ram dealer for $10,000 off MSRP. $65,288
I added oem gooseneck and rust proofing to a total of $70,000 plus tax.
Just out my first 600 miles in it driving back. 22.6mpg’s and such a solid shifting truck.

About how long does the company keep something like this? What duty cycle? Would it have been cheaper to have an aftermarket gooseneck hitch installed. Seems almost $5k jump is on the high end? No leather! Nice truck & thanks for sharing.

I am the fleet manager and we have 30 P/U’s in our fleet. Majority are 2022’s in a GMC 6.6 Gas 2500 platform 4 door reading utility body.
We do 5,000 miles oil changes on the with Sunoco 5w30 synthetic oil and sample every time. Engines have great reports after 50,000 miles
They have been warranty queens for rear pinion seals leaking
Famous oil cooler lines leaking which need to move engine to replace
Brake pads going 20,000 miles at most

4 2019 f250 6.2 gas P/U that actually have been solid.

2018 & 2024 & 2025 ram diesels have been flawless with 130,000 miles on the 18 and pull gooseneck.

Few 2022 gm 1500 with 5.3 and turbo max 4.

They have been good.

I am on the mark for 10 year truck ownership before we trade up.
Hope this helps

I didn’t want leather as to keep the same work truck kind of look. Don’t want to stir the pot per se.

Aftermarket gooseneck was $1600 and oem was $3000

Owner insisted going OEM.

Also bought a goose neck sure Trac 25’ 17,500 trailer tow package to go with the new truck. I do have my CDL. No worries
