Honestly the messed up thing about people who DON'T repair their cars is most of the time the car will drive and drive and drive without a major breakdown for miles on end. In my case it's been every car I've owned has gotten thorough maintenance but everytime I get under the car something new comes up that needs attention. Maybe I'm just anal?

Man you should see the looks I get when I tell people I've changed my power steering fluid or my brake fluid. They look at me like I'm an idiot.

I used to get the same "anal car idiot" looks from family(except my Dad,RIP)until they had minor problems that I fixed for them pretty much for free and started doing simple maintenance for them saving them a bunch.

Now that they've seen I can save them some money I hear "hey Alan,can you look at my car?"a lot more often than I used to.
