Network switch in attic

The Unifi switch reports its temperature. But I would guess thats on or next to the main CPU chip. I have seen it 70C. Today the one in a normal main floor room is 66C and the one in the attic is 65C.

I am at 83 user devices this weekend. Quite a lot. Many people have a phone, PC and Roku.

So far the Unifi switch in the attic is working fine.

I need to go back and redo some connections that should be running at 1Gbit but instead are running at 100Mbit. If I try and get the max length of 100m, the wiring and connectors need to be near perfect.

Do you still have some CAT 5 patch cables in the system?

I am guessing its either a CAT5 patch cable or a CAT5 female to female coupler.

My latest issue is a Unifi Flex switch on a telephone pole that worked for a week and then stopped working. Its in an outdoor enclosure.
