Vacuumed out what I could, but there's still a pile of stuff underneath. Should I toss in mothballs or something? The cover was loose and I must have left it loose after replacing a fuse a month ago or whatever--maybe a critter was able to get in from some other way, who knows. There was all sorts of stuff sitting all over the place, and a faint smell...

Check If wiring is damaged. Girl I worked with had a squirrel make a nest in her Hyundai and had babies in there. She finally caught it with glue traps.

Squirrel made a mess of the wiring harnesses and she had to go through insurance to have it fixed.

I didn't see anything in there but not sure how hard it is to pull apart either.

Darn it, they got into the CRV. Score one for cabin filters! The smell was awful, but they hadn't chewed on the filter at all, so it will get a new filter. And get parked elsewhere.

Wondering if I need to purge my fleet, we have nothing but woods (and rodents) around us.
