NEO Synth 10W-30 VOA

I used to use this stuff, along with their 0W-5 a long time ago in a race car. (sponsored)
Neo's gear oil, cv joint and wheel bearing greases were used a lot in open wheel and sportscar racing.
I actually have 5l of the 0W-5 left, along with some 7wt gear oil.

Would an analysis on 9 year old oil mean anything now ?

It is interesting that the colour has darkened significantly over the years, yet has always been kept in a dark corner of the shed.

Do ester based motor oils absorb moisture over time and revert to their acid base as polyolester refrigeration oil does ?

I don't know about other states but lead levels that high is considered hazardous material and as such cannot be disposed of with normal waste oil. Just something to consider.

In California all they check for if they check is for is clorinated hydrocarbons sniffed with an R12,R134 air condition leak detector. Lots of additives =a manly oil

I have looked and analysed a number of NEO products, and remaind unimpressed. It is a boutique oil IMO, like RP. And the grammatical mistakes on their website make me wonder how their QC is as well.
