good afternoon fellas. i am in charge of keeping our church van clicking along as far as routine and non routine maintenance. the van is a 2003 gmc savanna 3500 with the 6.0 liter engine in it and it has aPennzoil Platinumrox. 120,000 miles on it. last oil change i used Pennzoil Conventional and a purolator classic filter. i am looking to do some extended oil change intervals on this beast. i was thinking maybe Pennzoil Platinum 10w30 with a purolator pure one filter and maybe trying 8-10,000 mile oci. my question is if i use a pure one with that long of a oci will it fill up with crud or deposits or whatever and go into by pass mode or would the classic be a better solution due to the less restrictive nature of its filtration?
thanks,
