This is for my 92 Subaru legacy 2.2L 16 valve non turbo with 100K miles, Currently I'm doing an ARX treatment with 10w30 chevron oil.. what oil should I use after the treatment. On the cars manual it says 5w30 is not recomended for sustained high speed use and above 32 deg weather. Its recomending a 10w30 and 10w40 oil and also it says if the car is driven in high desert temp or used for heavy duty applications these oils may be used 30,40,10w50,20w40,20w50 .thanks for any help.

What is your driving conditions? I would go with the Delo400 15w40.
Maybe in 1992 it was different but today about the only difference between 10w30 and 5w30 is that 5w30 is a little better for cool startups.
You have to decide if you want longer OCIs or not.
For a 3,000 to 5,000 OCI I would recommend a quality conventional 5w30 oil, there are many out there but Pennzoil is my personal choice.
For a longer OCI I would recommend Mobil 1 5w30 full synthetic.
Combine either of these oils with a good oil filter (Wix, Purolator, NAPA, etc) and your ride will serve you well. My personal choice in Purolator Pure One, I avoid Fram products.
One of the low cost options is to run Wal*Mart Supertech 5w30 oil ($4.23 for a 5 quart jug) and a Supertech oil filter for $2.07. Less than $7.00 for an oil change and you are good to go 3,000 miles. My Granddaughter has been doing this in her 1995 Buick Skylark for 130,000 miles, no problem.

I'm assuming you're done with the rinse phase?

I'd use a quality 5w30 conventional for the winter like Phillips Trop Artic(do a search for equivalents).
If you want to step up to a Grp III syn, ROTELLA® T Synthetic 5W-40 would probably work year round.(good prices at Walmart)

I think Amsoil synthetic 15w40 would be the ticket here. The Amsoil Euro 5W-40 would be another good choice.

Ahem!!! Las Vegas is not Nevada. It depends greatly where in Nevada you live. The north eastern part of the state sees average winter lows of 2.5F with extremes in the -42F range. Average summer highs are about 83F.
Delo 400 15w40 would be a perfect choice year-round in Las Vegas and for a garaged vehicle in Reno. Chevron Supreme 10w30 would be a fine choice year-round in Reno also. If you live in the NE part of the state, 10w30 in the summer and 5w30 in the winter, or a good 5w30 synthetic year-round would be the way to go. I ran Delo 15w40 in my 1995 2.2L Outback with no problems, as my garage rarely drops much below 32F. I ran 5000 mile OCIs. The car ran like new when I sold it with 200K on it.
Others have given good recommendations too. Bottom line is that Subaru engines are not that fussy about their oil. As long as the viscosity is anywhere close to correct for the temperature, they will last forever.

I've got 2 Soobs in the garage, and another 4 that I care for in the family (did I mention we like Subaru's
). You didn't mention which part of NV you're in. If I lived in Vegas with it's very mild winters and it's blistering summers, I'd run a QUALITY 15w40 (Pennzoil LongLife, Mobil Delvac 1300, Valvoline Premium Blue), ESPECIALLY with your EJ22.
