I have a pair of Bolle Parole sunglasses that I wear when riding my bike. About a year ago, I managed to yank one of the rubber nose pads off by accident. The nose pieces are
very, very soft rubber, glued onto two tiny little posts on the hard plastic frame of the sunglasses.
I used super-glue to re-attach the nose piece. The super glue has caused a rapid deterioration of the rubber. It is literally falling apart from the inside out. I can buy
a replacement set of nose pieces online, but I have no clue what I should use to glue the nosepieces back onto the frame. I don't want to use anything that will cause the rubber to deteriorate.
What type of glue/adhesive should I use for this? Keep in mind, the glue has to withstand huge, disgusting amounts of sweat from my head & up to 140°F heat, since they are frequently left in my car all day during the summer.
All recommendations are appreciated.
