This is where the technology thread would come in handy.
A friend of mine has an AT&T LG Xenon phone. It is a year old.
There is one particular message it will not let him delete...all the other ones he can.
Is there any tips yall may have to help him?

just an obvious suggestion - has he removed the battery for more than several minutes? don't know if msg. would be stored in sim in some sort of non volital RAM or in a conventional memory that eventually will lose the data.

He has removed it for a very short amount of time...but It would be bad if he lost alot of stuff.....

Had a similar thing happen with an older phone, turns out it ran out of mem. on the device and started moving the new messages to the SIM.

There was another separate option of deleting them off the SIM in another menu.

I have the Xenon and although never experienced this particular problem would try installing the sim to another at&t phone. And checking text messages in that phone to see if it can be deleted. And vice versa with the xenon and another sim card to see if it will delete the message.

Otherwise resetting the phone with master clear.

Menu>settings>phone>reset settings>master clear.

In the same screen is master reset, this will however completely reset the phone as if it was just purchased.
