I did the reading. I have been around a long time now. Just because I do not post often, does not mean I am not here reading.
I stand by my original statement, and it is my opinion. There is nothing great about this oil. I do not see it outperforming all other oils. It is a good oil, not great.
Do you at least have a recommendation? There are not very many 30 weights for $4.50 - $6.00 that can even stay in grade for 6,000+ hard driven miles in a Subaru turbo.

Schaeffer 9000 series 5W30 AND the 9000series 5W40 will take all the pounding a Suby can dish out and still ask for more. I use their oil exclusively and after using it I can say GC is not on a pinnacle all by itself.
