Off my friends 2008 NC Miata with 113k on the chassis. Filter saw 4k of use. Oil was Valvoline RnP 5w30. Looks good, tiny bit of carbon down in the pleats but nothing crazy. I didnt bother cutting the media out. I did wick thru 2 sheets tho before taking pic.

Valvoline HM 5w30 went in and a Mobil1 M1-102A (looks like a PG) went on.

Looks like another wonderful PGI filter. I’ve recommended these to many friends that run 3-5k OCIs. I’ve started switching to these PGI filters with my low OCIs as well. Very affordable for an auto parts store filter.

Agree. I’d use this anyday over a junk PROTEC with hit and miss quality.

Even the CQ “red” I jist got looks darn good; just has nitrile adbv

Yeah, I just got 16 of those filters for 4 different cars 😂. Can’t beat them for the price.

Thanks for cutting this from your friends Miata. Don't think I've ever heard a single bad thing about those cars for as long as they've been around.
