Off my 1nzfe swapped 1997 Tercel with just under 171k on the chassis (motor has approximately 5-6k more).
Oil was HPL pcmo 5w30 that was in for 3900miles. Filter saw 1900 miles. As far as I am concerned I see no reason to keep me from a longer interval run now. Seemingly no real crazy carbon in this motor, so I assume it was well taken care of. No need to be cautious now.
The EX version of the filter went on (with the magnets again) along with the same oil went back in. I plan to take it to an indicated 175k (so just over 4k) for this next interval then do 5k intervals after that. Car sees about that amount of driving a year.
Overall very nice standard filter. Would use again without hesitation for a short/normal OCI. The ADBV was a little thin but still pliable.
I didnt bother cutting the media out after wicking as there just wasnt enough debris in there to warrant doing so. Also sorry I must of deleted the pictures of the base and the ADBV when I was cleaning out some pics.
