ATF+4 is hard to compare, since they have to be "licensed" to even put that "mark" on their bottle......go with whatever is the cheapest and easiest to obtain, really
Walmart has ATF+4 for 3.17/quart.....what's it at Napa? But yes, the SuperTech ATF+4 sells out QUICK at my walmart too even
That being said, Napa ATF+4 is among the lice of
Licensed ATF+4 Brands So I would have no problems using it....
You will notice there are no "all in one" or "Multi-Vehicle ATF" oils on that list
So not totally sure how Royal Purple and their "
MaxATF" is getting around it....perhaps they just "mention" it on their site, but not on their bottles?
Only other thing I can think of is there "verbage" (word usage) in that they state "Max ATF is recommended in vehicles requiring any of these automatic transmission fluids" They do have a big disclaimer about Ford Type F (nothing seems to "get along with" Ford Type F it seems...? LOL....and sme other disclaimers about "CVTs"...)
Something I'm curious about, technically, since ATF+4 is "licenesed" or trademarked/etc....you should be able to run a "Virgin Oil Analysis" on every one of those ATF+4 brands, and all read the same, right...?

Since the formula is that "protected" - or am I wrong?
