Filter is from member OpelMan. He sent a bunch of filters to me. I’m guessing this is from his 72’ Dodge truck. Looks good I say. Dunno what went back in and on. Happy Saturday.

Yeah, some cleaning happened for sure. Back when WIX /NAPA stuff was good.
Same as WIX, filter 20+ years old.Our newer engines burn cleaner these days. Caught some stuff. Gard corp in same town as WIX?

That did one oci on the Opel. I got stuck mid change without a filter and ended up using this one that was hanging around as decoration. Probably Wolf's Head 20 50 to start with plenty of make up whatever as it is a leaker. Napa back on and I think Traveller 15 40 back in. Car is a high rpm buzz bomb, 3000 rpm in high is 45 mph. It will happily cruise at 4800 all day long.
