I was searching ebay and got an offer on this, so the seller shouldn't mind if I lift the pictures, part number 13-00100, when you google search that number it does not come up at all, If I had to guess, it is is a new product.

It isn't in there filter catalog from what I can see.
I searched the Wayback Machine and went back to 2003 and it shows the three Magnefine filters, the same as the latest catalog, this filter must predate that time, could be 1970-1990's time frame, read a very old post on bitog and it said that this metal Raybestos filter did not utilize a magnet, no other info was given.

Fixed the Amazon link:

Raybestos Powertrain Inline Magnetic Automatic Transmission / Power Steering Filter 3/8

I have used those for about 20 years. Magnifine is the original company. My daughter had one break in cold weather in Montana on her Ford Taurus. I have used them in normal weather in Washington state without issues.

That metal Rabestos filter looks like the one that came on my daughter's 96, and my 98 Taurus back years ago. When I went to replace the trans filter the Ford dealer told me they had to sell me the trans filter with hose assy. They quoted a crazy price. So I put on the Magnifine.
