FINALLY, we have Rotella Gas Truck. I've been curious ever since I saw the initial press release, will have to try soon!. Also, noticed we now have Rotella T6 in a 15w40...more good news for my bike!

I want to see the new Delo XLE in light weights.... ie... 5W30 or 10W30. Still no sign of them at my Walmarts. Just the heavies.

The 5w30 has me interested. Once it shows up in my location I'll have to try it in the S10 and Jeep...
I wish Walmart would carry the T6 5w30
How about just mixing the 5-40 T6 and 2-20 of Truck series, you will end up close to 5-30T6: Not really sure!!!

I guess you missed the XLE 10W30 WM clearance last spring ?? I scooped up many single qts for $1 each, 1 gallon jugs for $4 and 2.5 gallon jugs for $5-7 each !!!

Normally I never look anywhere near the diesel oil section. All our Walmarts are set up where I enter the aisle and all the gasoline oils are first and at the end of the aisle are diesel brands like Rotella, Delvac and Delo. A few weeks ago a member here at BITOG mentioned the Delo XLE in thin weights. That's what put me on a search for it. Otherwise my feet hit the brakes in the aisle, when reaching Rotella, Delo and Delvac.
Sometimes I stop in the oil aisle when I reach Supertech gas-only oils. I have-yet to buy that brand, in 50 years of oil-shopping.

Its for real. Appears like it has just enough extra viscosity in 5w30 flavor (KV100 = 11.7, on the high side) to protect those Ford PU ecoboost fuel diluters from thinning out too much. And Shell says the anti-oxidants are stronger, again to help protect fuel diluting turbo DI engines & give it a little more high temperature resistance.
