7x Fram Ultra XG7317
2x Honda A01 Filtec

I plan to run my conventionals for 5,000 give or take some. My synthetics are all 0W-20 and I plan to use with the OC from late October/November to Spring. That OC may very well be 7-8k, but I don't think that'll be an issue for the Fram Ultra or any synthetic that I have. One OC just when it starts getting chilly, then change it when it starts to warm up... good, I hate snow oil changes.

Plan to use the Fram Ultra's for 10k miles. So.. I'll do two conventional OCs on one. I don't see any issue with that. Or if need be, If I have one conv. OC on it, I'll just keep it on for winter. They are rated for 15k... I'm not scared.

At a warehouse salvage sale I purchased 3 cases of Red Line 0w-30 for $10/case. The guy managing the warehouse warned me that this oil would leak out of my engine as fast as I could pour it in because it was synthetic. He said he felt bad about me paying so much for the oil that he gave me a case of Red Line D4. He was really happy to get rid of all that Red Line "stuff" and I was happy to take it off his hands for $30. Now I have my own stash and it's going into my 2003 V8 4Runner and my 84 Honda Civic wagon. I now have a couple of years worth of engine oil.
