Congrats on the Civic coupe! They are really nice cars...and in my opinion, a great value. It will take you a bit to get used to the parking brake though.
Yes, it is big! Esp compared to the new Civic coupe I bought in 94 which was also white in color and a manual. This one seems more like an Accord coupe which is a good thing.
SAH-WEET....is it me or do they have a little Accord love in the styling? Notice they have gained in size too. Really cool looking car. I'm about ready to get another Honda....my 06 turned 100K last month...may mothball it and give it to me daughter in 4 years and I'll get another one myself. Been looking at Civics...it's just me driving back and forth to work everyday, may not need an Accord any longer....definitely will test drive one though.
They are nice little cars. Someone should post a pic of an Accord coupe at that exact angle. It really does look as big as the Accord coupe looked a few years ago (haven't seen a pic of one recently).
Honda has been doing great on their designs lately. They really turned it up on the new Civic. The 2 Door Civic looks amazing and is probably their best design yet.
My how Honda has grown up. The current Civic is about the same size and horsepower as the 86 Acura Legend.
My 84 Civic wagon looks like a go cart when parked next to the current Civic. My Civic has 75 horse power and weighs 2,040 pounds on the truck scale with a half a tank of gas. It gets 37 city and 41 highway miles per gallon and will run all day easily at 80 mph on the freeway but has nothing like the acceleration of a modern Civic.
Your Civic looks really great. The current generation of Civics is a big improvement.
DIT engine...I hope Honda has a better handle on them than Subaru, my FXT got recalled for LSPI.
The benefits for you are a 6.7s 0-60 and good gas mileage!

Have fun with it!
My 2016 Civic coupe doesn't have the DI. I got the 2.0. Very smooth engine. No idle clicking either.
