My front diff is contaminated with water

So after first change . The marking compound should be clear . Now my gear oil should be normal color now ?

I would have fixed this with a new 2WD sticker on the back of the rig.

If I own a truck . It’s had to be a 4x4 . Recently Texas snow storm . Too many lifted 2wd truck with mud tires stuck on side of the road. They been exposed

Idk it’s because front diff is 90% not use and it just sat there doing not thing with Dino 80w-90 gear oil . Unless you turn on 4wd then front diff start engage .

That’s my take. When I did the front diff on my chevy, I was fairly surprised to see some milkiness in there. Nowhere near as bad as you show, but there was some. It just doesn’t get hot enough, IMO...

I would change the oil twice and not worry much.
