My 2018 F150 with the 3.3L was a horribly slow vehicle to warm up. If it was below 32° it took 1O to 15 miles to go into closed loop. I can see that engine having fuel dilution issues. It is direct and port fuel injected. I always thought the oil got dirty quick.
Yea I have a 2 mile drive to work. The OLM has me at 3000 miles at 20%. Ballpark. It s what it is. I put down it was 5w30. That’s what’s on the oil change invoice. Could been a typo. They normally put the factory spec 5w20. They put 5w20 in it last week. But this uoa the oil was listed 5w30.
Flashpoint, Viscosity, behavior of MC 5W-20 & 5W-30 when 2% or less fuel by BS figures, changed at the dealer (where they should know what it calls for) all lead me to bet the invoice was just a typo. Highly likely it was 5W-20.
