Milwaukee has the same feature, and I assume most others do too. Yes it is helpful for sure.Do any of you use the Ryobi “Auto mode?”
Sounds perfect for removing and installing lug nuts that are tightened manually with a torque wrench.

Yes Auto for taking them off. "1" putting them on and let it hit twice. Torque wrench turns about 45 degrees to reach 100 pounds.Do any of you use the Ryobi “Auto mode?”

Those are the best thing since sliced bread to break loose a rusty slotted or Phillips screw.
yup that's how I've used my Ryobi. In regular mode it will keep spinning the drive/socket but in auto it will sense that the bolt/nut has broken free and it slows down to a crawl. That way the nut or bolt doesn't go flying somewhere else. Very cool feature. I haven't even used regular mode!Do any of you use the Ryobi “Auto mode?”

1/2” Craftsman 450ft/lb impact driver.
And the cheesy screws on motorcycle side cases BITD. The Phillips bit fit them perfectly. Those are the best thing since sliced bread to break loose a rusty slotted or Phillips screw.
It doesn't make sense. Sales at Home Depot are weird like that a lot of the time. Looks like a good deal on a high torque impact, though....One thing that puzzles me. A Ryobi P262 is a 1/2” “Mid Torque” unit selling tool only for $179 or $279 with battery and charger.
But the Ryobi PBLIW01K1 is a 1/2” High Torque selling in a bundle for $149. How does that make sense?
I have the older p262, 600ft/lbs max. But that monster PBLIW01 is a monster at 1170ft/lbs! but that price, reminds me when I got my p262 it was around this time of the year, that's when you can get the best deals. I remember I got the 4.0ah HP ONE+ batteries, 2 of them for $99 during those sales, like now. I even picked up a $20 small Ryobi clip on fan, use that thing everywhere! So lots of Black Friday deals already out.
