Thank you for making the "how to" guide, that's a nice Ruger you got there. What is the difference between ours?

EXCELLENT! (It bugged me all night that I should have said something as soon as I saw the loaded magazine in your photo. GLAD everything is okay)

Yours is chambered for the 9mm cartridge and the one in the photo is 10mm (actually .40 S&W which is a shorter less power 10mm)

9mm is cheaper to shoot unless you reload then its about the same price. The ammo in the following photo is what I shoot quite a bit and have lead for the ammo (compared to Jacked/copper ammo)

Reason? Cost and easier on the barrel. But cost is the bigger reason.

The 9mm that yours chambers is on the left and .40S&W on the right. Other than that both your weapon and mine ARE VERY close to the same. (the 9mm holds more rounds unless you live in countries states that only allow 10 rounds)

Take care, Bill

Bill, what lead ammo do you use? Delta Preceision and Zero are out of stock of their FMJ and i'm not sure when it will be back in stock again. Montana Gold is too much for the 45 ACP.

Sorry!

Missouri Bullet Company.

I use their .380, 9mm, .38/.357, .40, .44mag and .45acp bullets with great success. Thousands and thousands well packaged and the only concern I've ever had was some lube missing on a few bullets. (and I can count that on one hand after chopping off a few fingers. Total of 3)

If you get the bullet bundles you can ship 3000 9mm for around $15 for now. BUT that WILL be going WAY up in the near future when the postal service changes their flat rate limits.

Since .45acp are heavier the max is 2000 rounds up to 230gn per box.

They do have hundred weight but I've never done that with them. When Bull-x was around (the BEST bullets ever) I did hundred weights back in the early 90s with him.

I've still got a few of his 148gn button nose LWC for .38sp.

Take care, bill
