OK, I have a quick question. After some research, it seems like the Redline MT-90 is pretty highly praised among Nissan owners. I was looking to buy a few quarts, and then I read a few posts suggesting mixing the Mt-90 and the MTL in a 50/50 ratio, for better performance, citing the imported cars' tight transmission tolerances.
Basically, I live in Cenral Coast California and it rarely freezes on the coldest nights. So I don't need the MTL for cold-weather performance.
My car also has close to 213,000 miles on it, so I'm leaning towards running 100% MT-90, unless someone can give me some reasons why to mix things up with the MTL.
So living in my moderate climate, with my high-mileage Nissan, should I go with the MT-90(I'm leaning towards it), or is there an advantage to doing the mix? Thanks.
