I finally found the MSDS on GM E.O.S. Are there any ingredients that look like they may be a problem in prolonged use? I see some VII's and possibly Group 1 oils. Anything that might be a problem if used as a qt. additive?

Someone mentioned in an earlier thread that it might contain brightstock or low quality VII's. Are these present? Too much sulfur and magnesium (ash)?
 
Yeah, it would be nice to have one of the chemical types here dissect this for us.

I would strongly recommend AGAINST using a whole can unless you're doing a run-in on a rebuiilt engine, and use for
Problem with this stuff is it is an old formulation and is high in ash-type metallo-organic compounds.

I don't know how much EOS costs, but our SX-UP per pint does more and has the latest AW and synthetic base oils with special organic friction modifiers.
